It's hard to believe that I've already been living in New Zealand for almost 4 months. Time is flying by so quickly! I am already a third of the way through my originally intended stay. I am actually considering staying longer and getting a 5 year veterinary degree here instead of doing 10 years plus at UC Davis. Moving away from home was the best thing I ever did. I still think about what things would have been like if I had stayed but in the long run, everything would have stayed the same and I would still feel like a mess. I got a new camera finally! A little Canon a590 was all I could afford but I'm pretty happy with it so far. A couple

its been a while... i almost forgot i had a deviant art! i just happened to be browsing the site for some pics when i thought, "hey... maybe i should check my old stuff out" and low and behold here i am. it's been a really long time since i've played with a camera but i promise to get off my ass and start being productive. i'm currently working on 2 paintings so hopefully i'll have something to put up by july. thanks everybody for the comments and props. it really means a lot to me, especially when i haven't done anything in super long. peace, love, and granola!! turtle
